From 1st November 2021 H. Daugaard has taken over Grau Shipping and by this H. Daugaard will strengthen the shipping activities.
– We have had a close cooperation in the last years and we know the strengths and possibilities for developing the potential that this takeover will give – it has been made with reference to strengthen our position within agency, stevedoring and chartering, says Michael Frihagen, CEO at H. Daugaard.
At the same time, Peter Grau – owner and founder of Grau Shipping declares that he is very glad that the two companies have been able to agree on merging, and that both he and the other employees are looking forward to being part of the H. Daugaard shipping team.
– We have a good “chemistry” and there will be many tasks, where we can complement each other and develop new solutions, says Peter Grau.
– H. Daugaard has own companies in the Czech Republic and Luxemburg and storage facilities in Kolding, Vejle and Vamdrup. Now we are expanding our shipping and port activities, as we believe in a growing market for transportation of cargo by sea and rail, says Palle Mogensen.
H. Daugaard looks forward to welcoming our new colleagues, and finally, all 3 directors state that it is “business as usual”
